I really don't want to join but wanted advertise my auctions and is that normal for the Dolls and Miniature Group to be linked to an off Ebay stie?

but there are ebay "Groups," maybe that's where it sent you?

Earlier this year ( ? ) or late last year,  Ebay disbanded many of the Ebay groups and chat boards (which were different than this discussion board).

 

The members of some of those groups (like the dolls and miniatures board) wanted to remain together and so moved their "group" to off-site location you posted, because Ebay would no longer support it.

 

In any case, I don't think the Ebay groups would have allowed advertising of members' auctions... it was considered bad form, if not actually against Ebay policy per se.

 

There may be interest groups on Yahoo or Facebook where you may advertise your items, you might check into that.
