Thank you, Shirley.  Except for the hair, both dolls are identical and are marked JOUET INC. 1965.  They were in pretty bad 'fru fru' outfits when I bought them, so I decided to have some fun with them.

Is there a link where I can learn about repairing hair damage?  Never heard of boiling hair?  How to?

I don't have a link for you but perhaps you should start a new thread for your question on Doll hair Repair Tips. There are several Doll collectors here that have worked Miracles on doll hair. They may have some links or suggestions.  You might want to post some pictures of the doll's damaged hair 

Regarding the boiled hair;  I've only done it on Barbie & Bratz doll hair. I wash it first with laundry soap, then dunk in water diluted creme rinse and rinse well. I comb the wet hair straight and dunk it for 10-11 seconds (timed) in water that has just boiled. I immediately rinse under cool water, comb straight and let air dry - that's it.

You crack me up Chap, you have about 20 of every doll ever made   That little baby "Charlie" is precious, whenever I see anything Chaplin, I think of emailing you but then I feel like an enabler so I don't.

Now I have 3 BSB's sitting on top of my TV with 1 other same size doll. No more room here to display another one. My cats like to chew dolls so I have to strategically position and place them 

Dejavudolly:  I know...too dang many. If I weren't so scared of being ripped off by buyers I would sell a bunch on ebay..

I get so stressed while the auctions are running.

Italocremona made these delightfully mod dolls named Corrine in 1968.  Their faces look like beautiful Italian girls.  About 16" tall.

Wow is right!!! She's a "Go Go" girl ...fabulous! I see she has sunglasses too - how cool.
