Wildrose, I have 2 or 3 of the 214s- they are among my favorite
Kestners but their fat and somewhat flat in the back heads take
getting used to - they are more character dolls than dolly face dolls..
Yours is pure delight now - of course, I thought she was as well when she was in her first picture, not so much in the Shirley wig!
It's amusing and more than a bit anthropomorphic: in her very first picture, she looks tentative and almost frightened- like she knew you weren't sure you even wanted or liked her- and in the Shirley wig, she looks as though she knows she is in costume, not herself...
and now she looks free and delighted to be loved!
