Advice for a newbie...please

Hi, I'm still new to Ebay. My husband and I have had our account for almost a year and I recently start selling. I was just wondering if I could get some tips from more seasoned sellers.

Thanks...

Steph

Hiyah :-D

1.Always look at your paypal NOT ebay to see your item is actually PAID.

2.Always look that paypal says:OK TO SHIP.

3.ALWAYS ship to the address on PAYPAL if the buyer wants you to ship to another 1 then tell them you will cancell the invoice and they can add that Other address to their paypal and then you resend the invoice.

4.Never give partuals unless they PROVE damage like a picture.

5. when a buyer pays leave feedback when you ship.

I hope this helps  Good Luck B-)

Hi Steph-

I'm a newbie, too, and recently posted my issue under the subject of "Flummoxed".

Your answer to "queen...." was excellent and I was especially interested in #3.  Can you tell me how to void and re-issue an invoice after the buyer changed a ship to address?  The buyer paid for the item and somehow managed to say they were offered free shipping although the original ad clearly stated shipping would be by Priority.

Thank you.

Of course you should.

You've gone into business .. Your expected to follow legal rules of state & federal requirements.say nothing of eBay who represents you as a business.

Somewhere on the eBay site is most every thing you need to know and what you can't find ask ~~ someone will know and help you.. Good Luck.
