eBay claims buyer protection but They lie!

I bought a $220 item from a chinese company and It was not as advertised.

Because the delay in chinese mail,  I was not given time to post feedback. So I can't even warm other buyers aboaut this company.

I sent the item back so now I don't have the item or my $200.

The protection plan failed me. and cost me way too much money.

If you are wise, you will not buy from bestbid818 ot any other chinese company unless you can afford to lose you money.

The reason I got jacked out of myh money is that items can not be tracked to china!

Sorry you waited too long to take action to utilize the buyer protection and feedback program ebay offers. There are 2 "time frames" to keep in mind during a problem transaction...

ebay Buyer Protection cases MUST be opened within 45 days of payment sent, be it an Item Not Received (INR) complaint OR a Significantly Not As Described (SNAD).

Feedback can be left within 60 days of the listing ending.

Always...ALWAYS...ALWAYS keep track of those time frames bolded above and take action before they pass. Do NOT let a seller string you along with empty "promises" attempting to cause you to delay going into action and end up NOT having ebay assistance available to you.

Buyer Protection didn't fail you...you failed!

You failed to file an INR or SNAD within 45 days OR you failed to leave feedback within 60 days OR you failed to follow proper procedure to mail the product back to the seller.  You DO NOT mail the product back until told to, by Ebay, through the SNAD filing.  THEN you must mail it back through an ONLINE VIEWABLE tracking source.  You failed to do some or all of the above.  Had you done the above, in a timely manner, you'd have been protected.

From ebay's "User Agreement"...

"While we may help facilitate the resolution of disputes through various programs, we have no control over and do not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of items advertised, the truth or accuracy of users’ content or listings, the ability of sellers to sell items, the ability of buyers to pay for items, or that a buyer or seller will actually complete a transaction or return an item."

Short version...

ebay has no way or legal jurisdiction to force a buyer to pay nor a seller to ship.

Their "binding contract" wording is worth as much as the air space it takes up. ebay may take action when an ID shows a pattern of being a problem member, but rarely takes action on an isolated/single reported problem.
