What is giving you the idea that a low feedback score is indicative of a 'stupid bidder'?

We all had a score just like that once.

Everybody has to start somewhere.

And if you have a bid, from anywhere, cherish it - it may well be the only one you ever get.

If you have a problem bidder then on the SYI (Sell Your Item) form there is an option to block certain bidders. I have never used it, but I'd imagine all you need to do is input the name of the bidder you wish to block.

There is also a facility for blocking bids from members with a low feedback score (up to 10, I think). Though, as you say, most with such low scores are just starting out and are most acceptable bidders.

Please note that I speak from a UK point of view. I am assuming the U.S. SYI form is not very different from the one we are shackled with.

Odd that you should have a need for this information as you appear to have nothing listed for sale, nor much in the way of feedback on your own account.

I'm currently seated comfortably at home, the Beatles blasting out of my SSX5s, mildly stoned with several more cans of Guinness chilling in the 'fridge', and nothing much on my mind, so I'm okay with playing along.

You can BLOCK in your eBay site preferences bidder who have had two or more UPI strikes in the last 12 months. Use it.

Perpetual non-payers will not be allowed to bid on or buy your merchandise.

You cannot block bidders with a low feedback score...only those with a minus one....that is impossible now, for buyers cannot get a negative, but was useful in the older times for the Nigerian Bid/bin bandits.  A seller who got the normal..."please send to my (son, daughter, grandmother, uncle) for his (birthday, graduation, first communion) in Legos.." could pop the ID with the neg one, preventing the next 100 sellers from a similar fate with the bogus ID.

eBay likes these bidders. They are still here after almost 20 years.  Go figure.
