Right, that's because people have not alternative or think so. Boycot has impact, and one to say to another will have impact with God will.
We need to make another auction website famous and let fall ebay. I have seen other website more fair and secure than ebay.
I am not arguing about fees but crime and fraud on ebay which is serious

If Ebay is so bad why are you still here. You need to move on if you are that dissatisfied. No one is holding you hostage. Still the best thing going as far as auctions go. You have to play by their rules or pack it up.

ALL THE FAKE CRAP ,YES, THE COUNTERFEIT AND UNSAFE ITEMS FROM CHINA BE REMOVED AND THEN EBAY WILL FALL BECAUSE THEY MAKE THERE MONEY FROM CHINA AND DONT TAKE CARE OF AMERICANS THIS IS A FACT ANY FAKE ITEMS BOUGHT FROM CHINA SHOULD BE LEFT WITH A BAD FEEDBACK WITH NO EXCUSE! The best thing you can do is report ebay's practices to your state attorney general's office and the Ca. attorney general's office. What they are doing is criminal. As far as boycotting, try other venues, like webstore.com. If enough people use another venue, it will become popular and give ebay some competition. Webstore.com is FREE to list and sell items. The volume is low now but can grow if people spread the word.

Well. Another reason to hate Ebay. Now they are choosing "who" they give free auctions to. My friend called today and told me there were free unlimited auctions for 3 days. I had no such message in my box. So. I called and was told that they are "randomly" selecting people to receive free auction listings. SO. If you are not one of the chosen ones...you have to pay to list! I asked how is this fair? That is like giving 3 of four kids cookies and telling the forth...I did not select you so, you have to watch the other 3 eat theirs. Maybe one day I will give you a cookie. Maybe. I was pretty much told...to bad and it is their business to do what they like. So. All you suckers who are paying to list each auction, just remember your compition is not. They are listing for free.

What a SCAM. I purchased a high value item that arrived at the warehouse destroyed and so I refused shipment. Now ebay won't refund my money.
I HATE EBAY!!!!!!!!
NEVER, EVER, EVER BUY A HIGH VALUE ITEM FROM EBAY.
Oh, and by the way - in case you didn't know this, if you buy an item using paypal and dispute the charge w/your credit card, you are out of luck since they have agreements w/pay pal that you have to use their resolution system!!!

Ebay is pulling up stakes from CA and moving to Utah. Offices are already there. What will CA residents do when the move is completed and eBay gets tired of the CA BS and decides it's not going to deal with CA anymore?

How long has it been since you purchased/paid?
Haven't had a need for our "my eBay" page since '08, but I think there may be a 30 day time frame to show "recent" purchases/wins..that time frame may be able to be lenghthened/extended from a drop down menu?
We don't have a PP account either, but I'm thinking (from reading the boards) that the item #'s for the items that haven't arrived would be available on the corresponding PayPal transaction page from when you made payment(?)

Recent purchase was an item that can't in reality be returned. Seller packed the 80# item in cardboard box and shipped ups should have been crated and shipped truckline. Arrived broken if I want to spend several hundred dollars I could to return for credit. Seller ad "insurance provided". All I wanted was to have item repaired. Wanted seller to file claim with insurance. That didn't happen so I paid to have it repaired. Ebay allows seller to falsely advertise and doesn't stand behind transactions. I have tried to close my account for several weeks now but system wont allow me. So I'm done with ebay. I hate ebay

Ebay has done nothing for me as a seller on an idiot that never paid me in full. I emailed them, filed a complaoint etc and they (EBAY) DID NOTHING yet i have 100% feedback on over 555 items. They are harbouring the cheaters, don't protect the very people that sell and support their business - I have finally decided to QUIT USING EBAY - i'VE HAD IT WITH NO SUPPORT FOR A LOYAL AND DEVOTED CUSTOMER THAT HAS PATRONIZED THEM FOR 12 YEARS NOW!!

Everyone hates ebay~Meg whitman destryed it when she spent 4 billion to buy Skype. Ebays stock and popularity have never been the same since.
My advice to you is to have a Thousand Pam Andersons reconfigure your testicular matrix unleashing a furry of masculine chi force upon your mortal soul~ but that's just me

I don't mind playing by their rules, the bull is the rules are different each time. Different for sellers and different for buyers. I called ebay with a problem and they walked me through placing feedback, they ok it word by word. The next day it was removed, for the wording. I called the back and three hours later they state they removed it in error, so they talked be through re stating the feedback again. The next day we started all over. Still fighting them.
They are the best out there but they are getting worse and worse. The same problem Dell has, just bad customer service. Now Dell is trying to save their butt's. Glad to see them fall.

I'm not sure I understand. What kind of action exactly did you have in mind? I wouldn't mind restricting their access and or monopoly on the internet, if there was some way to do that. I guess my question is what exactly do I have to do?, or what do I have to join as you put it.
Just to be clear, I don't hate ebay, I do however dislike much of what they do.
