I knew he wasn't doing well, so I've been watching his facebook page 'cause his son Ryan was asking for prayers.
Just now I see his friends posting RIP Phil.

Dang! Just dang!
I'll never forget him dedicationg a dog radio show to me on my 50th b-day.
Many of you called in to wish me happy birthday.
Phil wrote a parody to "Smokey Mountain Rain" and sang it on that show. Then he sent me the CD so I would have it forever.
We all laughed at the dog and impalass antics.
My favorite was when impalass kidnapped dog.

I've tried Tommys' cell a couple times. No answer and he hasn't set up voice mail, so I can't leave a message.
Hasn't been on facebook in a while, either.

YES Judi he was, in so many ways.
It really bothered him , when he got very ill, could no longer be their Rock, provider and their sense of security .
They were, his whole world .
He dearly loved his family and always wanted, to be there, for them.
That is one of the many qualities, I admired most, about him.

He bought a place about 30 miles north of me a few years back,
But I think it was just a winter house?
Dog- I remember when he asked what everyone thought of the (then new) 04 Chevy Colorado's that his son was thinking of buying back then.
That might have been back in late 03, And when you spend time in this electronic board "Room" hours at a time day and night, for years - It's just hard to believe he's gone....

I have an icon on my monitor that was for listening to his radio broadcast. I was about to drag it to the recycle bin and I didn't.
I am gonna sell everything and move. I have nothing of value to keep. The Mrs has advised me to just keep carp 'cause I want to. Stuff that connects me to other places, times, people.
I will keep the shortcut. When anyone asks, I will tell them MY story of Phil.
Is there any better compliment to a person than keeping their memory alive?

I can't not bring myself to delete one of the last phone messages, Phil left on my cell phone, saying
" Just called to say hey whats up , call me, when ya get a chance ".
NOPE I am not deleting it .
I have all kinds of links bookmarked to his sites, they are gonna stay too. I just can not, bring myself to delete them
Two weeks ago today .... he was gone way too soon , but will not be forgotten.

I got another warm, kind message, from Phil's wife Kena, this morning, thanking everyone for their friendships with Phil , thru some very difficult times.
She said, his friends, meant the world to him .
Back at ya good buddy it worked both ways, for us all.

I just literally stumbled into this thread ... I haven't been to visit this board in so long. And usually most of my visits were to say hello to my longtime friend DTBH.
I'm in tears. He was a very special man. My condolences to everyone who was lucky enough to have him in their lives. And to his family - thank you for sharing him with the EB family.
I'll miss him very much.

I am sorry Orange, I thought you knew, about Phil.
He was "Family" to many of us, that knew him well. A once, in a lifetime "good guy brother" who left us, way too soon.

Sorry to hear about dog.I didn't know him.I thought you all was talking about the real dog from the T.V show.
anyway sorry for this.The good ones always go first.
I would like to say I like the photo of that 1964 Super Sport.I have one just like it.Nice taste!Looks better original tho.

(((RS) I am so sorry  and understand.
I lost my first cousin age 55 to cancer in Jan, My mother in Feb and then Phil in April.
I thought , I would not get thru it.
He passed a week, before my daughter's BD .
His daughter is about 6 months, younger than mine.
RS, I know this, is one of the worst years, of your life .
But we need to remember, Phil and your wonderful son are together, in a better place, just both, way too soon
They are ok, it is those of us, left behind, that feel the terrible loss and sorrow.
This has got to be a very difficult day for you and Phil's family Our hearts break for y'all .
Please know, we are here, understand and feel the loss , with you. You are never alone

I imagine that they are enjoying his company in heaven as much as we enjoyed him here.
