Can't revise item by adding picture -- Live Help says it's "site issue"

I noticed over the weekend after posting some new auctions (created with TL2) that I had the wrong picture with one item. Since that item already had bids, there's not as much that can be done to revise the listing; however, it appeared that I could still add additional photos. Tried doing that (using eBay's Basic Picture Services); when I click "Save & continue," the additional picture shows up, but I also get "please enter a valid value" error messages at the top of the next screen (with nothing highlighted lower down to show what specifically is wrong). I first tried changing things that might possibly require a "valid value," which just messed things up further (mostly in the Shipping area of the "Revise your item" variant of the SYI form). Live Help (consulted on Sunday) said it was a site issue, offered no estimated ETA on when the site issue would be fixed, and suggested either ending the auction early and relisting (with bids already on the item, I didn't want to do that) or attempting to revise the listing again every so often to see if the "site issue" had been fixed. As of now (2 1/2 days later), the site issue has apparently NOT yet been fixed. (BTW, I'd be happy to send a scan of the correct item image to any potential buyers who ask via My Messages, but noone's asked yet.) Has anyone else had similar problems with adding photos while revising active auctions -- especially auctions which already have bids on them?
