I'm a new Mac user.  How do you upload pics from a Mac to ebay.

I'm using the Lion operatiog system. Thanks

Also where do you store them so you can retrieve them.

Let me start by saying I am not a Mac user. This is just info gleened from the web. so hopefully a Mac user will come along to fill in the gaps.

I'm not sure how compatible Lion is, since it weds the OSx operating system with the iOS system. Hopefully it keeps the uploader capability.

You will need to run Safari or Firefox on your Mac to upload photos to eBay.

When you upload your photos, eBay doesn't store them where you can retrieve them. The uploader is on the Listing form and once uploaded, the pictures are displayed on the listing form during the listing process. So you can see them there and can delete them there.

Or perhaps you are asking where the photos should be kept on your computer prior to uploading?

I have all my photos on my computer in iPhoto... when I want to upload photos into a listing I select (from inside the listing I am building) the iPhoto files. Then I find the pictures I want and select them and import them. It's pretty easy.  When you are in the window for selecting pics I always use the Standard uploader because it lets you select more than one picture at a time. If it doesn't work for you then try the Basic uploader but it's slow because you can only get one at a time. I seldom use it but now and again for some reason a picture won't upload so that's when I try it as a last resort. I hope this helps!

I think that pictures can be in any sort of file on your computer as long as you can find them to upload them... using iPhoto gives you the opportunity to edit the photos first, crop them and lighten them or whatever looks best.
