I was hoping to find some people who may know something about British sterling circa 1900.  I bought these spoons at the same estate.  I thought they might both be by Knox. The spoon on the left was made for the Coronation of Edward VII in 1901 and is clearly marked Liberty & Co. and Cymris.  The ladle on the right is the ID problem.  It is only marked "STERLING."  It does have some characteristics of the other spoon-the same colors of enamel in the peacock feather. Knox also set stones in sterling pieces.  I know Knox worked on his own prior and after working at Liberty & Co.  Any ideas?  The ladle is completely handmade and has incredible workmanship suggestive of an accomplished artist in metalwork.

You might want to post this on the Antiques board.  They have more silverware experts there.

Thanks. Already have.  The main reason I posted here is I know who made the spoon on the left-It was made by Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co. and Knox also designed quite a few pieces of enameled sterling jewelry.  Just hoping there was a jewelry person reading this board who knew about work and style.  The ladle has a number of features characteristic of pieces made by him and his students/peers.

Archibald Knox has his own society dedicated to his work.  I have linked you to a page of his silver pieces so you can get an idea if yours looks similar.

There is also a contact page, where they may help you to authenticate it.
