I always wondered why the bids were so high on Live Auctions.

Some of the wording on the complaint is rather odd for a lawfirm i.e. "FAT PROFIT".

So glad they are being sued. About time! Ebay live auction should have been flushed down the toilet.

danser,

I would suggest that you contact the lawyers to see if you can be part of it.

I think eBay is doing away with the live auction format, just can't remember exactly when, eBay probably knew this lawsuit was coming so they are doing the classic "duck & cover"

PERFECT! I've always said the was something wrong with Live Auctions on eBay - and GoAntiques has always had insanely high prices on costume jewelry in the Live Auction section. I am not surprised at all, I'm only surprised it took this long.

I wonder how I can get in on this class action lawsuit. I knew that there had to be a reason the winning bids were always so high. I only used a live auction once, but it sure cost me! It was from Neimans.
