Hello

I bought a cigarette case that has the marks, 9 c.t., 375, and what appears to be a swan in a square. I believe that it was made in England, before 1947, because it has a pre partition map of India engraved on the front. Does anyone know anything about the swan in a square mark?

Here's a site for ID'ing English and other foreign gold hallmarks:

If it doesn't have all of the required stamps, it was probably made  somewhere else.
