As many ounces as one can afford along with sufficient firepower to protect said silver.

I do not own any except for  wearable well made NA pieces. Personally I prefer stocks over the long run. They pay dividends and many have spin- offs so I do not have to rent extra safety deposit boxes or buy a safe.or  a shotgun.

well,it all depends,in some minority of China ,people wear as many as could be .It's kind of hobby they inherit from ancestors.You may see the photo for reference.
