I've run across an auction on another site with a necklace someone is claiming to be Tinker's Gold "the real thing".

 

I've never heard of it. Can't find any definition or link in google to reference it. Figure if anyone knows, y'all do.

 

Not going to bid on it, just curious.

I messaged the seller of the necklace and asked him to explain for me but haven't heard back yet. The auction ends in 2 days so there's still time.

 

He also stated in his auction that the ring was marked 10ktk. Why the extra k?
