I LOVE October! Probably my favorite month! My daughter, Lark Julia, will be turning 11 on October 14th. This will be the first year she is not having a B-day party, just too strapped. However, she will be getting a cell phone, sigh, she's growing up!
I'm also REALLY excited about a huge flea market coming up. It is in Steam-corner IN, it's called the Covered Bridge Festival. It goes from Oct.9-18th. There's going to be hundreds maybe thousands of vendors. All three of us are going, my daughter, DH and I. There's going to be food and music, camping too but we live only 1 hour away so we'll just be going for the day. Should be lots of fun!
And Halloween, my best friend in the world, Matthew, is visiting from Portland with his steady boyfriend that I have not met yet. They are dressing as Gomez & Morticia Adams and I will be Wednesday and we are going to some parties and such, I can't wait! My DD, Lark, will be going as a White Mage from the Final Fantasy games and acting as the guide through her hauted house at school, we got her a glowing staff to lead the way. She's sooo excited.
