It obviously was not cared for, it comes apart in 6 pieces.I was going to build a 50x50 slab and install it. Then in the future right next to the home build a 50x50 10ft deep lower level which this will be transferred to for 2500Sq ft total underneath for the ultimate 3250 sq ft home. Does anyone have one of these homes in your area? It is made out of fiberglass and in an asterik or 6 pointed star configuration. I may be a year process but I will get there, I cannot wait.

Your home is very cool! Do you know the name of the company that made it? Are there windows on the five other spikes? How thick are the walls? Do you mind if I ask how you found it and how much you paid? Your basement idea is good, but I think it will be a bit complicated to pour the foundation. Good luck with it and post pics when it is moved, etc. Bye

It was made by American FIberglass Homes. I found a brochure from 1974 in which it was for sale for $12600. The windows are only on the ends of the extentions. I am only taking the walls and the rest is staying. I reversed my desicion on the full basement and will probably only do 2 lower levels under 2 of the extentions.

Reminds me of the old Quonset Huts.
