Is it just me or has the economy brought out the worst in buyers who just want to be angry, leave negative feedback at the drop of a hat just to be nasty.

Is it just me or has the economy brought out the worst in buyers who just want to be angry, leave negative feedback at the drop of a hat just to be nasty.

You're not alone...and they don't contact you prior either.  My gripe is I sell 25yr old used motorcycle parts, including electrical items and ebay wants me to 14 day money back guarantee this stuff even when I post "untested" in the description and it sells for $5.  And of course we can't even leave neutral feedback for a poor buyer....so wrong.  Plus most don't leave feedback...mainly the ones looking to complain so the scoring is flawed from the start.  They should account for no-feedbacks as assumed no problems.

I had a lady who after 46 days contacted me to say she didn't recieve the item-tracking said she signed for it-after one day of contacting me put "AWFUL", and extremely negative feedback, and even though I showed she did recieve it, waiting so long to contact me I researched the transaction more and ebay nor I could find she ever even paid-I told her to send me anything a statement or something I could find it with and I would refund the 10 dollars, I was new and when it said verified I thought it  was okay to ship prior to payment-my mistake, but ebay knowing she didn't even pay and waited beyond the limits would not remove it, so now that is the only negative one I have ever gotten and it hurts my score unfairly!! I hate the system just because you can't do anything about it and she left it before ever working it out at all with me.

Yep, I've have the same problem. Just today somebody gave me a neutral because he said the waist and inseam of the rainpants were not the correct size. He never contacted me as to the probelm as I would have exchanged them or given his money back. The only thing we as sellers can do is to block these people from futher purchases. Ever since they took the option away from us sellers to give buyers a negative, feedback is a joke. I only leave feedback to buyers if they give me a positive.
