Its another nice day here ( 91 ) Hope all are well and enjoying life. Wonder what's up with sorrow, havn`t heard from her in quite a while. BIL is bringing me a rideing tractor mower as he now has 2 . looking out the window i dont see any sign of him though. oh well the grass is burning up in this heat so wont need cutting for a while. Fall seller updates-- What a crock of crap ...again.
Next year, the merchandise credit, exchange and the 3- and 7-day return options will no longer be available, and a cash refund option will be required for all returns.
So, we are now FORCED to refund CASH to our buyers when they decide they want a refund for any dam reason...

Good god, off to eBid I go. Used to be eBay was a GREAT place for two people to come together to sell, and buy..now..its all about trash!

Good Shirley, I need to vent bad. Yesterday was my birthday. With the exception of my sweet friend Shirley who sent me a card in the MAIL it was a disaster.
I woke up unable to get on the internet. No reason, no bad weather. Spent the first two hours of the morning with ATT who said the supervisor would have to call Monday. Now I sell and always have auctions ending and I was going out of my mind without this evil machine.
Lunch reservations were made at a place I had only eaten once before since it is a little expensive. A golf country club a little out of town. We were there at 1. An hour and a half later ( and major complaining) I got my pasta. Guess what; COLD. I sent it back told them they had ruined my birthday. They heated it back up. Manager came by and said they would not charge me for it. Waitress came by said she would give me a piece of cake free to go. I had to get a go plate, I was to depressed by this point to eat much. I will never never go back.
I never gave up on the computer, kept trying it all day. Finally around 5 I got a new screen and called tech support back. This guy fixed the problem. There was no explanation as to why it just died in the middle of the night. It still amazes me how much they can fix just over the phone.
Auctions ended, made a little but should have been better.
Last night I took my usual sleeping pill, 2 valuim and just cried.
So goes my grand 55th birthday.

Kat, sorry you had a crummy day for your BD! It is amazing what those techs can do over the phone though. We no longer have ATT, as we had the bundle deal. What a rip that was! Bill was NEVER the same and sure as heck was NOT the price they said it would be! grrrrrrrr! Can't imagine what my BD will be like, ha!
What a day in the neighborhood! Someone got evicted from their home. Well, guess it is not THEIR home as they had not paid their mortgage for nearly 2 years!!! What a mess! Sheriff went to their door and moments later a crew was there hauling ALL of their stuff out the house and piling it in the yard. They had until sundown to get it all loaded and out of there. Thing of it is, they claimed to have not received the many eviction notices. What a mess. Won't go in to all the details here.

Thanks for the card & the cake!
OMG just when you think things are bad. We had a fire at the power plant and have been without any power for 24 hours. It is 105 here. No air except for a small portable fan. It just came back on so don't know if we are in the clear yet. Whole city was out, national state of emergency & curfew called. Lots of people left but we stuck it out. What a horrible week I am having!!!

Kat--Oooooo 105*!!! and no way to cool?? Oh, I would not make it! Just got an email from a friend in NE and she said it was 104 there today. I know it is headed our way and supposed to sizzle tomorrow. I am so glad you got your power back! Bet you can wait another full year for your birthday, LOL!! Hopefully, all will be better now and everything goes back to the norm for you. How did your mom fare in the heat?

Hi Shirley The weather guy said 102 for us tues. We could use some rain but its not a drought yet.
I wonder if sorrow has burned up seems very hot in the middle of the country. Crops will be destroyed because no rain.
