Since seller has not responded, I'd file the INR tonight 10/2 IF the plates don't show up in today's post. They have an estimated delivery time of 5-12 days using Parcel Post, sometimes this service is slower.

hi, I am very frustrated because I bought a book Sept 28th, paid immediately and it never came, when I wrote they said it was back ordered but they have the same item listed in an auction.

A seller did that to me. Dragged on and on. I was naive enough thinking all people are on the up and up. Don't wait like I did. Either ask for a refund or better yet file with Paypal. I'd say 2 weeks, stretching to 3 would be long enough to wait. Protect yourself. No one else is. Don't be naive. It was funny looking back, my seller told me, I'm on disability, next I have no food. And finally, my father needs medication...I have no money to send it back or to refund you. Some heartbreaking way of keeping you from filing. I have a heart and do care so I waited, right past the 90 day period. Be smart. I wasn't.

In the auction did it state the item could be on back order? If not, is there a 30 day money back guarantee? If so, unless you don't mind waiting for the item to come off back order you could always get your money back and be done with the transaction.

I look at items this way, if it is back ordered then the seller is selling it short meaning he doesn't really have the item at his location or he is a drop shipper. Reading the auction is real important as a buyer and reviewing their FB history to see if this problem has occurred before.

As a seller if I run out of products then I don't sell and just wait for my MFG to send the next shipment. I don't sell anything short you never know how long it is going to take to get products.

I'm sorry to see this kind of activity, they really suckered you on that one. Anyone that doesn't have any money shouldn't be selling on ebay. To make money one needs money.

right past the 90 day period.

90 days for what? It's 45 days to file with PayPal and 60 days to leave feedback. Never ever go beyond 45 days before filing with PayPal if that's how you paid. If you paid with your credit card you have at least 60 days don't let that pass either.

I am very frustrated because I bought a book Sept 28th, paid immediately and it never came, when I wrote they said it was back ordered but they have the same item listed in an auction.

File item not received with PayPal.

Is that 45 business days or 45 actual days?

I know, my bad, wrote 90 instead of 45. I was typing too fast.

Calendar days. Neither eBay nor paypal ever uses business days.

I hate it when sellers come up with all these excuses. ESPECIALLY the disabiity card. You are right, they are just playing on your sympathies as an excuse to dodge their responsibilites. They probably scam the government the same way and WE are paying for it in more ways than one.

When a buyer pays their good money for an item, it is the sellers responsibility to ship that item. Excuses are just that. ...excuses.I guess they obviously don't care about their feedback or good seller performance, so they will eventually get kicked off of ebay, which is good.
I have a cousin who has SEVERE Cerebral Palsy. He can't even walk or talk. He has to type with a pencil attached to his head. Yet he works two jobs, maintains his own condo, and knows five different languages. He has always been an inspiration to me and all who know him. There is NO EXCUSE for dodging your responsibilities.
If you don't get your item in a timely manner, or response to your emails, then file a PayPal dispute. PayPal WILL get you proof of shipping or your money back. Good Luck.

I do that last part all the time myself. :-D. Just wanted to make sure no one would pick up on that and think it's 90 days.

Yes, 45 calendar days to the exact minute. Always file 3-4 days before the deadline so you have time to make sure it actually went through, etc.
