I want to make a separate account from my personal accont to resell about 10 to 15 items a month. I do not want a store I will not be making much profit, just want something separate. I cant seem to find anything on the subject.

You just need a seperate email account for the new account. You do not need to register this account as a business account if you are just using to sell the odd thing. You can then tie this new email address and account to your PayPal account (they allow up to 7 email addresses on one PayPal account) upgrade the thing to premier account and call it a day.

Oh, you can use a free email service such as gmail, hotmail, or whatever but you will need to have a cc # or debit card # for identification purposes.. However you need that anyways for a selling account.

you can have as many accounts as you want.

it only takes an new email account for each one

I was looking into the same subject as well and confirmed with few of my friends who sell online and they said i need to have seller's permit in order to have business account. Is that true?

not on ebay, you might in your state to sell anywhere.

and it helps in collecting sales tax as well .

there's other benifits , but it's not required to sell here
