eBay doesn't care .

shoot after 4 days i'd auto file the nonpaying bidder complaint and forget them. 40 days is way too long.

I can tell you at least one reason for wrong shipping addresses:

Ebay recently automatically changed my shipping address and I can't get the system to change it back to the correct one!

I live where there is not mail service to my street address. I use a PO Box for USPS, and my street address for UPS, Fedex, etc. USPS requires that the mailing address be the lowest line before the city/state/zip line. Ebay's new programming will not let me put it there.

I need to have both addresses shown because many sellers do not disclose what method they will use for shipping. I always include a note in my Paypal payment that indicates which address to use with which method, and almost always the seller sees that and sends it to the proper address.

There is a message on my address correction that says that the address I use does not match USPS records. DUH! USPS does not recognize my street address, and I need to list it for the other delivery methods. This is a case where the software is "smarter" than us humans. Garbage in - Garbage out.

Ebay - let us correct our addresses! Your software sucks!

As for email and phone numbers, Ebay should set up a system where sellers report contact problems. Ebay would then make the buyer update their contact information the next time they log in - no login until the information is refreshed. That would help your situation.
