Need Advice: Buyer reports a problem 2 months after purchase.
Jun 29, 2012 07:06 AM

I sold a new cell phone at the end of April. I recently got a message from the buyer stating the phone had a picture on it. I had this phone to sell because I received multiple phones from AT&T.  They may have tried to transfer my info to the phone but I never used the phone.

Then I get another message stating: "the phone is really bad at getting service no matter where I am at so if you could just please tell me why and how to fix it I would be happy"  I explained that I don't know why they're having problems with it because it's new.  I also suggested that they get with their service carrier to troubleshoot the problem.  I got a response back stating that their old phone & the rest of the phones have no problem with service.

I don't understand why they waited almost 2 months later to contact me about this.  My posting for this item showed; All Sales are Final, so please ask any questions thru eBay before purchasing this item. How would you handle this situation?

If its past 60 days dont do anything.  They cant leave feedback and cant open a case.  Its their own fault for not taking care of any problems sooner

first get rid of that disclaimer, it only attracts problems. and buyers have 45 days to file a complaint and will get their $$ back.

nothing on ebay is "all sales final".

but your buyer let the tine to file pass, so how you handle it is up to you.

but i'd add that buyer to your blocked bidder list asap
