Why Seller opens cancel transaction case 3 1/2 wks after I rec'd refund?

I don't understand why a seller would open a 'Cancel Transaction Case' on June 17th, 2012. Especially since it has been 3 1/2 weeks after I received a refund. I paid the returned shipping and received a refund for item on May 24, 2012.

Is this a valid case to open? I thought the transaction was final when I received my refund. This doesn't make any sense to me.

I don't understand why a seller would open a 'Cancel Transaction Case' on June 17th, 2012. Especially since it has been 3 1/2 weeks after I received a refund. I paid the returned shipping and received a refund for item on May 24, 2012.

first the poll is for polls , not ?'s

the seller is in most cases doing so to block you from leaving feedback. sometimes it's to recoop fees, but it's not in every case

reme,mber if you don't respond to it , seller gets the cancelation

Although the transaction may be final in your eyes, eBay doesn't refund the fees associated with a sale unless the buyer agrees to cancel the transaction.

Some sellers just don't send them right away. If you decline it, the seller will still have to pay eBay the fees associated with the sale.

If you got your money back and there were no problems, go ahead and agree to it.

Canceling a transaction does not block buyer from leaving feedback.The buyer paid so they get to leave feedback. A refund or canceling transaction does not chnage that.

They want to get their fees back

If they refunded you, they deserve to get their fees back.
