Completed listings,Sold listings,Active listings.

The past couple of weeks when I researched products there were these 3 headings at the top of the search. Active listings which I could click, Completed listings which would show me the completed listings in each category of auction or buy it now and then there was the Sold listings which eliminated the unsold from the completed listings. I found this very useful but today, I notice these options are missing. Does anyone know how to restore these options? Also when I used Firefox these options were not there and when I used Chrome they were there. Anyone else notice this?

I don't have those and never did. I used to have "Completed Items' in the left hand column, but now that option has disappeared off the page entirely. Completed items are now a pain to look up. Hoping they restore the headings that you are talking about. That setup sounds great. Can only hope....

Hi jkm0119
What you experienced was one of the (several) variations of search results pages that eBay is currently beta testing. I've encountered at least 3 slightly different ones.
There's no way to get a particular view back: eBay drops people into them at random (probably by sending out a specific cookie, which explains why one of your browsers had it but the other did not). People "fall out" of the various page views at random as well.
Hopefully eBay will decide soon what they want to stick with, and the winning view will include the Sold option.
(And personally, I hope the view that displays the Top Seller column with the popup that jumps out every time you scroll down the page does NOT make it into the finals....) What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

I wish eBay would stop testing. I am not a guinea pig. LOL! I get frustrated when I click on view seller's other items and cannot do a search for their completed listings. The old way was much better. If is ain't broke, don't fix it.

I am DEVASTATED that the options for searching are gone today! I loved being able to see "sold items", "active listings" and "completed listings".
PLEASE bring that back. Is there anywhere that I can subscribed to that view??

As a seller, I rely heavily on the completed & sold listing view search options for determining my pricing. Tonight I am unable to list new items because these search options have disappeared from both the left column AND the top of the page (which I preferred). I realize these 2 search options will return - but I'd REALLY prefer it be sooner than later. Ugh. >

Oh my god!! Beta testing??!! I thought those new options were permanent. why, oh WHY would they remove them. It is so much more efficient than clicking" advanced "EVERY SINGLE TIME. Bad move, Ebay. Please bring back the "Sold" and "Completed" tabs asap.

I thought the completed and sold tabs at the top were the best thing that ebay had done in a long time. I can't say how disappointed I was when they were gone as I had also thought they were permanent. Why can't they make them an option to choose from on the "customize view"? Then those that love them can!

What a ridiculous decision , to remove the single click completed listings look-up!
This change has complicated my use of eBay , both as a buyer and a seller, for two weeks now!
It has also wasted my time considerably.
HOW DO YOU EXPECT BUYERS AND SELLERS TO PARTICIPATE IN A MARKET ,WHEN THEY DEPRIVED OF A COMPLETE PICTURE AS TO HOW THAT MARKET IS BEHAVING???!!
Furthermore , as a seller , I wonder how many sales I am losing because my customers cannot understand how competitive my prices are, in context to previous sales!

Hope this might help some. Clear your cookies and re-log on. Occasionally I fall into some bizarro crud that ebay is testing or whatever the F they call it and clearing all ebay cookies will restore it to a more sane environment. Doesn't put the Completed tab back though.
Also... when you search (for anything) there is a link at the very bottom of the page "Tell us what you think." Please click it repeatedly and click Very Ineffective. There is comments box, too where you can express your feelings.

Just so everyone knows, the option to seach sold vs completed is always on the mobile version. Problem is for me, I can't make that page on my mobile version a sharable link. A family member wanted to see my "sold" list and I could not send it to them because that link disappeared on my desktop version. And yes, this testing during the "holiday" season when I'm busy is driving me crazy. Do it in January eBay please...

I was having the same problem. My desktop PC lost the "Sold" and "Completed" columns but my laptop had both columns; what I did was go to Internet Options and deleted all cookies and temp files; you MUST delete this info for you favorite websites as well (it took about 5 minutes!)
Before doing this I closed all IE windows. Also make sure you logged off Ebay prior to doing this.
After everything was deleted, I went to Ebay, logged on, and the "Sold" and "Completed" (and "active) columns were back.

Ebay, HOW DARE YOU
We are the owners of a multi-milion dollar company who profits on selling sold only info for your auctions.
Please do not elect to serve your customers with this info for free, meanwhile bankrupting our company!
At least CHARGE YOUR CUSTOMERS EXTRA for this service (and give us a % of course!)

My ebay search bar keeps flipping between: all items/auctions/buy it now and active listings/sold/completed. I love the former and hate the latter. I did a search on ebay.ca (Canada) and it does it the old way with the "buy it now" tab. Maybe I'll have to move to Canada! (Or maybe I can just do my ebay buying from ebay.ca). Either way, I have called ebay customer support many times on this issue and they are clueless on this issue. It's terrible customer experience to have ebay changing the format on people randomly like this. I keep thinking I have a computer problem and have spent time trying to fix it. It's very disturbing to think that ebay is intentionally doing this to people.

After almost 2 months of ebay switching back and forth between completed listings on the left, then up at the top, then GONE completely, i'm wondering if they've finally settled on an option?
mine is up at the top now. PLEASE quit taking it away and moving it around, it is extremely annoying and time-consuming. the sold listings tab is gone but i can live with that as long as i can access completed listings.
i agree with and like the idea previously brought up of giving us the option to choose whether or not we want it, and where it is situated. personally don't like it on the left, it's harder to find (when it IS there) and usually inconveniently further down the page than i'd like.
