Although the 6-hour flu continues on some targeted listings, the rest has become as foreseen;
Disabled until they decide to start it up again with the so-called "
glitch..."
I (and others) have relentlessly continued compiling the research into the
DSR Manipulation and abuse with very successful results. Some of the evidence would make most hysterically laugh as to how ridiculous the manipulation is carried out. It can be visually tracked and recorded from nearly
moment-to-moment in many cases. This usually took place shortly after the system update in the early hours (approx. 10:00 GMT). Then a short period would usually follow where the numbers continued to drop a few points across the board until reaching their new "common" low point for the day. It has also become nearly impossible to rise above certain "common" high points. Seems eBay has placed a nice "cap" on the ratings for many sellers to keep them "
under eBay's control." Unless a buyer hits you with really low ratings, which put your ratings in the tank for days at a time. The low ratings are still worth their old stock values. It's just the good (yes, even 5-star) ratings that have dropped in value (like eBay's stock continues to do). Sellers have had single days where they received 10 or more positive feedback plus 5-Star ratings in all cases without a single increase of .01 in any category across the board. The ratings then continued to drop the following morning in the usual pattern of ratings theft performed by eBay's "seller maintenance" gurus.
Such a fair system that it makes me cry with tears of justice. (That last sentence was just flippancy.)
There is nothing to speculate about concerning any of the evidence. We now have over 4500 consecutive, time-stamped, full detail screenshots of various
Seller Dashboards being manipulated right before their eyes. All were captured with painstaking accuracy and have been maintained throughout the group so that all involved would have the full set of screenshots rather than just their own. The screenshots were taken along with those of the feedback and ratings at the same time in each case. So there's a lot of images involved. My personal collection has exceeded 720 to date. The sellers have made direct email contact with over 90% of their buyers prior to the posting of feedback to ensure that they could accurately track the ratings as they were posted.
Even when there were no expiring ratings that would be due to "drop off" from the 30-day calculations, the numbers still drop as eBay seeks to cheat sellers out of their earned discounts. It is almost like watching would-be liquor store thieves planning their assault in front of the building as the police car pulls into the lot from behind them.
Oh well, not only is it usually driven by greed, but
crime also makes you stupid.
eBay is probably too busy trying to stop all of the
computer crashes caused by the new "My eBay" (yeah, My eBay, what a joke!) to busy themselves with little details. Like doing a better job of hiding their criminal activities.
I am certain that a great deal of sellers will now have cause to reflect on their recent suspicions with renewed motivation and updated ideas. Sellers reading this should employ their own research and analysis to enjoy a new dashboard experience;
"
The experience of being cheated in broad daylight like trying to find that Red Queen among the 3 cards held by the street urchin."
How's that for a "bump" in the thread?
