Here's where the new search makes no sense...

I know some hate it, but that's probably because it doesn't work like it is supposed to. So the problem is that they didn't get users to test it out first, and then they didn't debug it.

Now, here is one situation that just seems CRAZY to me:

I was looking for a car amplifier and had selected a bunch of search parameters, such as brand. And then, wanting to refine the search, I clicked on brand...show more choices. And then window comes up with a list of brands in it, but SHEEESH!!! What's in the window is just bizarre!

The original list of brands was around 100, but now this window has a subset of the brands that I have chosen PLUS a really small subset of the brands that I haven't chosen. So what good is that? I can't unselect some of the brands I HAVE chosen and I can't select many of the brands I HAVEN'T chosen.

So what good is that window? It just tells me that the search system is full of bugs!!

If I'm following you, you are saying that the choices in a popup aren't what they should be, and I think I have seen the same thing. Very confusing, Dude! I found the only thing to do then is just start the whole search over.

I apologize for posting in this thread. I want to start a new topic relating to search, but can't find a link to do so! I looked in the help section and it says to click "post new topic". Well, I can find no such link! Even when I search the page for the word "new" or word "post" there is no such link on the page. This is on the screen where it lists the topics. Please help.

Found it, it's actually "Post *A* Topic".
