Search only Completed Listings THAT SOLD!!!

There has to be a way to do this! I must be stupid for not being able to figure it out.
As a seller, I want to search for items that have Completed and SOLD! Seeing 85% of the items unsold in the Completed Listings is USELESS!
I need to be able to see what things are selling for not what they are not selling for. How do I filter Completed Listings to only get SOLD items? I don't want to scroll and scroll through a bunch of unsold completed items.
PLEASE HELP ME ! (sorry about the caps, just frusterated)

Like I said previously...
on the completed listings research page at automatedsearches.com there's a zero bids filter and/or you can hide unsold listings. And it's free.

Like others have mentioned, the iPhone eBay app has this feature whereas eBay.com does not. This has been a huge issue with eBay over the years - very little synergy between their different products. For example, we use Turbo Lister to list items and only UPS is the main ground carrier yet eBay offers FedEx on their site.
I've never been able to get a straight answer out of our eBay rep as to why there's this huge lack of consistency across the products they offer.
On a side note, I gave the automatedsearches.com a try and it's ok, format of results could be improved since when you hide unsolds it just hides the information in the rows between some gray bars so you're left with a lot of gray bars to scroll through...

The only thing that was good in that new Beta search protocol
was the fact that
one could separate sold listings from all completed listings

C'mon Ebay!! This is totally lame the way that you have to go through numerous clicks to see the completed listings. I will definitely start using user-friendly Amazon much more now. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK!!!!!!!

I slod here years ago and now am remembering why I left. All the huge fees and things like this. You can really tell the market is way down. I came across a storage locker with 50 + precious moments in it. At the time, everyone thought I would make a bundle. I always thought they were oversold on the regular market. And looking at the page for advanced search proves it. over 16K of unsold an a couple hundred sold. Ebay is making a killing on the unsold items and could care less, knowing we only want to see the sold. Make us work and we will just stop wasting are time and list it anyway.
Not me....

Well, this weekend I was granted with a treat - only in Google Chrome though - it seems eBay is testing a new search page - when I search for something - say Dell D630 laptop - the page layout looks completely different and now has the ability to see active listings, sold listings, or completed - so it finally looks like eBay is listening and will hopefully roll this out to everyone soon.
I'm just puzzled why it works in Chrome but not in IE or Firefox....either way, definitley useful!

I don't know if anyone mentioned this in any of the replies above, because I have not read them all, but the E-Bay app allows you to take your search of completed listings and further specify to only show SOLD ITEMS and it works great!
It's lame that if I want to do this, I can only do it on my phone and not on my computer, but hey it works!!

Hi playitagainpc
Every year, eBay chooses one section to make major revisions to. This year, it's search. They are beta testing changes, and people will be cycled in and out of it randomly (cookies are issued and overwritten, so one browser might be in it but not another) for the next few months, until they feel it's "right," then they'll fully implement it for everybody. Probably in October, I'm thinking. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

The only way it will work is with a eBay application for Ipod Touch/Iphones/Ipads (and possibly android based phones/tablets) Install app, select refine search / then select completed and sold , then select refine results and it will display only the sold items of your search

So there was a beta test for this? I thought I was going crazy or something. Everytime I logged in to Ebay, the format was different and I had this wonderful search items sold feature. Then just like that, it was gone.

Hi jupitercyclops
Yeah, various versions of search results are being tested randomly on people. I read a thread from another person just today who was very excited about that wonderful search items sold feature that you had for a short time. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

I just spoke with an eBay representative and he said the option had been removed and that there were no plans to bring it back, perhaps because this is an option you can access for free if you are subscribbed to "Seller Manager Pro"only, powered by terapeak.com
I hope this is not true because this option should be available to everybody. It was wonderfull while it lasted, hope we get it back soon

That eBay rep is woefully misinformed, or at least did an extremely poor job of communicating.
Selling Manager Pro does not allow you to filter searches to show completed items only. It doesn't even do searches of the site for other people's listings.
Selling Manager Pro is not free, unless you have a premium or anchor eBay store.
Selling Manager Pro is not powered by Terapeak.com. Terapeak.com is a separate company that has been partners with eBay for years to provide subscriber-only data concerning sale trends for a subscription fee for up to the previous 365 days.
Completed items search has not been removed - it's accessible in a different location, perhaps, but it hasn't been removed.
And the completed items search that shows only sold items is one of the options that eBay is beta testing now. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

Hi jer540
That's because you received the "beta cookie" or whatever flag they're using to randomly drop people into the test search.
It won't always come up just because a person is using Google Chrome. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

It isn't limited to Google Chrome. I have a friend that has a laptop with Firefox, and when she is at work, she has the "SOLD" link available that only shows listings that have actually sold, both auction and Buy It Now. When she uses her laptop at my house, though, the option is no longer available. I called eBay's IT department about this and of course, they have no idea what is going on. Random IP address allowances? This SOLD link would save so much time for me, and it sounds like many others.
