Bulk relisting problem?

According to live help, this is a known problem they are working on. They were not sure if an announcement would be made, nor how long it would take to fix.

Bulk relisting problem?

Another weekend where you are not allowed to make some strides in listing - same problem here. Another Friday night gone with no future auctions to watch during the coming week. Didn't expect to make any money this week anyway.

Bulk relisting problem?

Feb 25, 2006 1:28 AM
yeah, I'm having the same problem and it really stinks. I have about three hundred and fifty auctions I need to relist. If it isn't fixed by tomorrow, I guess I'll be spending an hour or two doing it one by one...boy I'm getting my money's worth with this program!

It's a new ebay, folks. Roll with it, or get plowed under.

Bulk relisting problem?

Feb 25, 2006 6:40 AM
I've had the same problem since Thurs night so as of now its going on 40 hours and still no fix in sight. I'm getting really tired of the "thanks for understanding, we're working on it, there is no ETA on a fix" from ebay. Oh yes, please feel free to use the individual relist in the meantime. Do they even work on the weekends fixing these issues? When I asked about a credit for the time when the functionality isn't working I was told you can ask, but I doubt it.

What I don't understand is when they roll out new code and immediately see that there's a problem why not revert back to what was in place prior?????????????????????????

Bulk relisting problem?

Yes we are using mozilla and firefox. I had a chat with ebay live help and their representative said there is a problem with selling manager and selling manager pro, but they are aware of it and working to get a fix as soon as possible

Bulk relisting problem?

Feb 26, 2006 4:59 AM
Even though the "It will take 10 seconds" message hangs there and does not go away on its own my items actually do re-list.

If you want to select a different category to use for the relist (one you have not used before) the selector isn't working properly either.

Bulk relisting problem?

Feb 27, 2006 2:44 PM
I spoke with eBay Live several times about this same problem during the past several days and each time they did not acknowledge that they knew about it. The second time they told me that they were unprepared to handle that problem and they would direct me to someone who could. When they began to look up who to pass the buck to, I simply typed in that I was leaving for an appointment and needed them to report it for me! I had already waited about 15 minutes for them to come online!!
Then, when I gave up and began to relist them one by one, the message came back that these items had already been relisted in the last 24 hours and did I want to list them again... grrrrrr. What a huge waste of time!

Bulk relisting problem?

Feb 27, 2006 2:59 PM
When I tried relisting through bulk, and then relisting one of the same items individually (to see if they were actually listing), it let me. So I don't know if some items relist, while others don't....

Maybe it depends on the direction of the wind at some given point in time.

Bulk relisting problem?

Feb 28, 2006 9:35 AM
When I send a store inventory item to auction or fixed price in Selling Manager it changes my item specifics - if the condition is OTHER it now just says other - instead of the description I listed it with ie Gently Used, Excellent, etc. I just did one where it zapped all my specifics.

This has been going on since the beginning of February, it was finally acknowledged by a Cust Service rep with the standard answer we are working on it...

If I send to Turbo Lister, change the format and list, it is okay. So at this point I can only relist NWT or NWOT - maybe this is just happening in Clothing?? I haven't been seeing any complaints on this issue. I didn't realize it until several buyers emailed me asking what OTHER meant for condition... Is anyone else aware of this?
