Where is my saved item-for-sale draft?

Hi, so far I've been an eBay buyer but want to start selling, too. Last week I started a draft on an item for sale. It had a box to save for later which I checked, but I don't know where to retrieve it. I had originally clicked on a link "sell one like this" which brought up the selling form. Nothing shows up on my My eBay page. Please help. Thanks. And good selling to you!

Where is my saved item-for-sale draft?

Hi, so far I've been an eBay buyer but want to start selling, too. Last week I started a draft on an item for sale. Well, looks like they still have NOT solved this problem! I am sick of them not fixing SIMPLE things like this, as they make BILLIONS of dollars a year from us sellers, and this should not be a very hard thing to fix. I am frustrated, as I lost over thirty minutes of work that I did yesterday. Come on eBay, fic your s**t NOW!!!

Firefox was the culprit for me! it signed me out as soon as i was clicking sell.

It actually says somthing like sign in to see your saved items, but when i signed in it still didnt show my saved information.

logged into safari, all works fine.

If you really want to save multiple drafts you need to try "Selling Manager" or "Selling Manager Pro"

OK HERE IS SOMETHING EASY EBAY!!!!! I love you by the way, please dont take this the wrong way.. I DONT LIKE EBAY,,, BUT I DRIVE BY HER HOUSE... SCREW EBAY! HOWS EBAY DOING THOUGH? HAS SHE MENTIONED ME? OK SIMPLE!...

ADD A TAB.. I HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM EVERY TIME I SAVE AN ITEM... WHEN YOU SAVE SOMETHING FOR LATER...please.. show us a pop up type lil window thing trying to break through with perhaps a number on it saying how many drafts we have...This problem is here for a reason and they are not fixing it. 5 years ago it was the same thing.

What I want to know. Why would they do this? Who does it benefit? Could it be like a slot machine type thing? ( the longer they stay the more money they might spend?)

VERY ANNOYING. Thank you Ebay, for making things so utterly irriotationg.. by the way.. IS THERE AN ELF I CAN BUY ON EBAY TO PACKAGE AND SEND MY GOODS WHILE I DEAL WITH A TERRIBLE INTERFACE.?

Every time I click continue on the last page of listing, it brings me back on the "welcome sellers" page, since yesterday What could be the problem?

so... over 4 years later, this still isnt resolved. I like taking pictures with my phone and plugging in the basics (lets me save as many drafts as i want on the ebay app) and i would LIKE to then be able to log on to my computer and type in/click through options that are much harder and time consuming to do on a touch screen, before listing the item.

i think im going to have to just list items with the bare minimum and then go in and revise each and every one. incredibly frustrating.

If you simply go the top 'Sell' tab and select either 'Start Selling' or 'Sell an Item' you will see you saved listing scrolled towards the bottom of the page. Hope this helps, it took about 15 min to figure all this out...

Hi,

For anyone using the ebay app as well as the site...

I could not find my draft anywhere on the actual ebay site. After I looked in my phone I could see I had 2 drafts saved so I deleted 1 (from my phone) and then refreshed the "sell an item" page on my laptop and boom! There was my missing listing!

What a farce this is. eBay has become too big and doesn't care. This problem has existed for ages. I just can't get my item listed. My internet connection is iffy so I save a draft so that I won't lose the work I've done, but I can't retrieve the draft. Even tried Firefox instead of IE but no luck.

Click on "Sell"

On the left you will see "Start New Listing."

On the right side, you'll see "Finish Your Draft Listing."

The word "or" is in between the two columns.

I'm using Google Chrome.

A saved item should be a lot easier to find than this. I tried a few suggestions here until I found it. Easy enough in the end when you know what your doing.... I hovered mouse over "sell" then clicked on sell an item. Almost like starting again......

All my drafts have disappeared. There around six total, and I noticed a few days ago that two or three were missing. Today all the rest are gone. I updated two of them just yesterday and was going to finish and post them just now.

Anyone else having this issue?

Hi, I have just started listing items and rather than list one by one I wanted to queue them all up. So I started each listing and saved each one as a template and saved for later. To find these listings again you click on Sell an item, you can only see the last 5 that you have saved. In order to see more you need to start actually listing them. So far this is the only way I have been able to find them again :-/

Same thing here...There were around 10 showing on my phone app, but when I went to revise, they were gone, along with everything else from the last several days. eBay customer service says it will only save 3 drafts (!) before it starts overwriting them. A bit of warning before saving over saved listing drafts would be nice, you think? Hours of work lost.

Another case of lost work. I have two listings for similar items I'm working on. I've spent lots of time getting the text and formatting just right, did a "save for later", reopened it (I'm usually able to find it) , and the description field where I've spent so much effort is now completely blank. WTF!!?? Tried again several times, same result about 1 time in 3. It's completely unreliable. Or should I say reliably a disaster.

Take-home message: Do ALL your editing locally and copy into the Ebay tool as a last step. Then cross your fingers and do a dance for good luck.

From E-Bay HELP today:

You'll be able to access your saved draft unless:

• More than 30 days have passed since the last time you edited the draft.

• You start a new listing. You need to complete your old draft or save it as a template before starting a new listing.

Good grief, why doesn't it just alert you that you already have a listing underway that you'll ruin by starting another? That's kind of stingy - to allow only one - but I could live with it if I knew beforehand and didn't have to search Help and learn the hard way.
