Barry Sounds TIRED at the News Conference.

The gray hair is really coming in, and much more pronounced wrinkles.
That position dramatically ages people quick! Why would anyone want to do it?

Zero energy when talking about the economy.
It's like he doesn't even believe what he is saying!

Then he runs away!

You have to consider a couple factors.

First, both his putative parents died at a relative young age.

Second, he has never held a real job, with real responsibility, in his whole life.

Third, the few jobs he has held he skated though on his charming personality and minority status.

Taken all together, Obama has to be in rather rocky shape right now.

I've often wondered why anyone would want it. I guess you have to have a strong desire to be famous and a part of history, and hopefully you feel you can make a difference. All I can ever recall on days like this is Obama's words to Bill Clinton about TARP:
"Just tell me what the right thing to do is, and I will sell it to the people." I cannot shake the feeling that Obama is selling us Geithner and Axelrod's vision for this country, with a sprinkling of his socialist czars.... very disturbing to see where we are now.:(

Obama is having self doubts and self pity. Until now, he's been the door-to-door salesman peddling garbage in good times. Now doors are slamming in his face. It's a personal crisis moment.

He's undoubtedly getting bad advice from his wife also, and getting ragged on about not following it.

mabey they can give away $5000 to everyone in the country (audience) , oh wait they did that , that didnt work , next.

And you know this how????

Why spread the blame to the First Lady and assume she is part of his challenges? Seems like a pretty mean cheap shot at Obama and his wife.

It is a tough job and the issues he is dealing with are very challenging, and would be for anyone from either party to address. Does anyone actually believe that Bush, McCain, Palin or H Clinton would somehow magically solve the economic crisis, two wars, health care, climate change, etc......

no but they would do a fine job of ingoring it and starting up some more STUFF (cant say that word here) that could sink us in deeper.

remember how everything the bushster did was going to SOLVE all the problems, pay for itself, bring about recovery like magic and all that. that didnt work, , Next.

Also keep in mind that Republicans in Congress (including McCain) and Bush supported the first bailouts, the Bush Administration proposed and pushed for those bailouts. Also remember that McCain (and many Republican leaders and member of Congress) even claimed last fall that there was no economic crisis.

Hard to believe that any President or member of Congress could suddenly now come up with the magic solution, because there is none. I understand why Obama and Congress are receiving the blame now as they are in power, but really folks does anyone really think that the Republicans hold the magic fix?

McCain's Mom is still alive at 96. Good genes there. And McCain has a demonstrated will to overcome adversity. Bet McCain will outlast Obama.

Because the guy is married. If he doesn't seek her advise he's in trouble. If he does seek her advise and then does something else, he's in trouble. Its in the fine print when you get the license.
