I just use a tabletop tripod..set the macro mode-making sure that the telephoto/wide (zoom) is correctly set-the little macro icon turns yellow when the distance is properly set for it to focus. I never use the plain zoom feature, have to get in close.

Wow! Those are great photos. I have a pansie theme going in my dining room, dgt. Do you mind if I print those pansy pics to maybe frame?

I really don't know anything about photography. I could really use some classes, but I still enjoy what I am able to do.

AnnieO-feel free, I'm flattered. You may change your mind once you see June's work though..lol..you should see the originals..about half a meg each! If I do them in tiff format, my cf card only holds one or two..I think those are about 2 megs apiece..
