Thanks for the encouragement. That painting is special to me, too, as it and the one below were painted from photos taken on some of the drives my late husband and myself took in his last years. He was so patient with me, as I asked him to stop the car, one more time, because I saw something I wanted to photograph.
This is a little rocky creek bed, mostly dried up, with shadows of trees and patches of water reflecting the sky and some clouds.
I can't look at either picture without remembering those occasions.
