hmmmmm. So, it IS the 19th? "good googly-moogly!???" hee hee hee. Utah is fairly inexpensive, flat age-based rate of taxing. Tax and renewal were only $39, inspections were about $70. That's it now until next year. Except for my fan belt is screaming off and on, and now it's started to chug a little when I accelerate and the sassafrassin' driver's seat belt is stuck AGAIN.....grrrrrrrrrr Hubby PROMISED to take it in this week for me (bastages at the garage will cheat me if I bring it in, they give him a discount). Hrummmmmpppphhhhh. Now it's Friday and it's still sitting. I have to have it fixed before the 22nd, hubby is going on a road trip with his mommy and I'll need my car while he's gone. Or he can't go. ![]:)](http://b.us-forums.lvwd.net/images/emoticons/devil.gif)

I refuse to answer on the grounds it may make me a year older!..lol BUT, I am older than Hunney, so technically I am the boss of her We don't have inspections here, if it rolls you can drive it. They charge us based on the cost of the vehicle when it was new. The more you pay for the truck the more it costs you at renewal. Bastiges have never heard of depreciation even.

I don't know, your way may be better. When hubby bought his Geo new in 1998, he paid the exact same property tax on it as my boss did for his 1998 Lexus SUV he bought. THAT was so not fair.

Giggle, boy Donnie, you gots "The L@@K" down!
Page 3? Phooey! Just dug this up from page 4!
I'm beat. We had a fun fun road trip yesterday, AFTER I got up at 5 am and worked at the farmers' market for 6 hours. But we did stop at some nice hot springs after we stopped at 27 fruit stands on our annual "pumpkin run." THAT felt good. The 60 mile drive after the soak was pure heck though. Got home around midnight. Today I did laundry, dug in the garden, sewed, and now all of a sudden, I see the lawn needs mowing (needed mowing Friday), I can not do it. Hubby's getting stuff to BBQ tonight so will have to mow it tomorrow. Maybe. Waiting for it to snow.....hee hee hee.
Not really, if it snows, all those beautiful buds on my roses won't get a chance to bloom. 2 more weeks before a freeze and I'll be happy.
Take care every one. Page four. *shakes head*

So here i am driving home from work a few minutes ago about 12:15 am. I am on a dark street. There is say a streetlight every 4 or 5 poles apart. I see somthing moving in the dark area beyond the reach of my headlights. So i applied the brakes to slow down to not hit whatever this thing was. As i came apon it it was some guy walking down the center of my lane. i went by slowly into the other lane, he moved onto the SIDEWALK. I passed looked into my rear mirror, he was just in the light of the streetlight by then. He goes back into the dead center of the lane i was in. WTF is this dude trying to get hit or what. Cause i barely saw him prob would have hit him if it wasnt for the white stripe on his sweatshirt other then then the rest were of him were dark colors.

Donnie, you did your good deed for the day by not running him over. Twas a busy weekend round here, sorry bout the page 4. Today is garden removal day. Honest, no more messing about, it must come out. We have had frost the last couple of days, so snow isn't too far off.

Oh Ravy, I should have another couple of weeks before the frost hits, I've got mums just budding and ready to burst (a light frost or 3 won't hurt them). I have a new batch of rose buds getting ready to open, I want one more round of roses before winter sets in. I am not a winter person. But maybe I'll get that storage room cleared out once the weather turns. Donnie, boy, it's lucky that guy isn't dead (if he's not). Some guy out here walked out in front of a semi on the freeway last night, thew up his hands, and was mowed down. Died instantly. They don't know who he is/was, but are pretty sure it was suicide. OK, the very last load (of about 7) of laundry is drying outside, will finish it tonight, AFTER I mow the lawn. LOL Gotta get ready for work, probably be a half day today unless there are any emergencies. Take care everyone. Suzq

Okay, with apologies to the Republican Foxxess. We headed out Saturday for breakfast and a book sale (bag day, fill a bag for 5 bucks). Noticed that many of the roads were closed . Stopped to eat and asked the waitress what was going on (this town is about 45 minutes from our homebase). She told us that President Bush was stopping by for 15 minutes. We actually thought about staying, but he was not going to arrive until 1:30, and it was 8:30, figured I would be cramky and tired by then, so we did not stay.

Sue, we were laughing alot. I figured the family with six kids, all wearing matching outfits, were probably there to see him. Those kids needed a quick smack though. They went through an entire canister of sugar, adding it to their ice water. Then the other half made the wise statement that they probably thought we were there as rabble rousers.

Good morning everyone. Good to see the foxx is back. I sure hope you had a good time. Thought I lost my monitor. One of the kid's friend's dad kicked her out of the house. He's one of those mental abusers (Has physically abused her). She's a real sweet girl - he's a Richard (get the hint). Anyway - she had a computer and didn't know if it was the puter or monitor. So I told daughter to hook up my monitor. They thought it short circuited the monitor. Son finally found problem last night. Yeah!! I hate to be without a computer.

Whew! That's the big problem with my iMacs, the monitor is part of the 'puter, if the monitor goes, the whole thing is useless. So far, have had this little blue iMac at home since 2001 and it's still going strong. The one at work is only a little over a year old. Sounds like I'll have to get an IBM next time I get a new puter at work. I can work both, but much prefer Macs. Wow Chunkee, I know a few "Richards" here too. 2 of them are actually named Richard! Sissy married two different guys named Richard. Richard the first, and Richard the Second (both are big "Richards"). Now she's with a Kevin who is a sweetie. Gotta go, hopefully work will be half day today!
