Wake Up America!

Your country is being taken from you. Don't you realize all you stand to lose if Obama and Pelosi get their way? They are ready to ram down your throat a huge government program which will affect everyone in America for the rest of our lives. This is a very critical time in our lives and we should not be railroaded into a government plan which will affect us and our children. Once this program is put into effect it will be impossible to reverse it. This is a very serious time in our life and we need to stand up and tell them NO! We, the people, should have more input into this. This should not be rammed down our throats. We should have some say in what will affect us for the rest of our lives. Our government is not listening to us. God bless us all!

Are you talking about any program in particular? Or just anything that is going on under Pres. Obama's watch?

Take a deep breath. And another. Now pick up your phone and call your representatives and let them know how you feel.

did you protest the war on Iraq when it was rammed down our throats? just curious.

Well now, let's not act stupid about which program is being rammed down our throat. We all know what we are referring to. And yes of course, I have called my representatives and expressed my views but unfortunately they are not of my persuasion so quite naturally I got the standard political reply.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I did protest the war on Iraq and still do. Let's not be juvenile here and we all know which government boondoggle I am referring to.

Or possibly they don't feel the same way you do.

Maybe they think that providing healthcare for all citizens, as most first world countries do, is not the end of the world.

Maybe you should calm down and be reasonable when giving your side of things... and not just spout the standard "Universal healthcare will mean the end of America" rhetoric.

Well maybe we should take advice from those countries who have tried the old "government healthcare for all" tonic and found it not to their liking but now are mired in it up to their sweaty armpits and are desperately trying to divest themselves but can't. Why is the US not looking ahead and seeing those countries who tried socialism are now turning back to reality.
