Late Delivery

Hello,

I recently sold some tickets for a concert. I posted the tickets special delivery next day as the buyer requested, but the post office failed to do this and delivered them a day late - after the concert. Now the tickets arrived undamaged but were obviously now worthless. Who takes responsiblity for this, is it the seller (me) or does the fault lie with the buyer for taking the risk of a possible late delivery?

It is your responsibility as the seller to ensure that the tickets arrive in time for the event. You say the buyer took the risk for selecting that delivery method, but if there was any risk the tickets wouldn't arrive in time with that method, you are at fault for providing it as an option to the buyer.
