For various risk mitigation purposes, there is a long standing policy within the secondary ticket market that all sales are final with no returns, no exceptions (unless the event is cancelled). I'm told StubHub (an eBay owned company) has also adopted a similar "no returns" policy on all ticket sales.
In speaking with many the ticket sellers powered by RocketPoster, there is much debate whether the "Tickets" category has been excluded from this new returns policy; yet I'm unable to locate any eBay seller notifications or published site documentation to corroborate this category exclusion.
On behalf of the many 100's of ticket sellers powered by the RocketPoster eBay Listing solution, the feedback I'm hearing is this new returns policy should NOT apply to the "Tickets" category as eBay ticket sales should not be held to a higher standard than sales which occur on StubHub.
Nevertheless, I kindly request clarity from the eBay Tickets team on the return policy for Ticket category listings.
