Digital Postage Scale Recommendation

I am a trading assistant whose business is growing and I need to upgrade my postage scale. I've looked at what's available and the choices are overwhelming. Can someone make a suggestion based on what they are using successfully? I have checked past posts but cannot find where this has been addressed.

Currently I use this one with no complaints Postal Shipping Scale Digital USPS OZ/LB Parcel Packing Ship Scales Home/Office

However, if I needed a new one I would get this one:  Salter-Brecknell PS150 (PS-150) Digital Parcel Scale

Holds more weight ( for more ruggedness only since you most likely wont handle packages over 70lbs anyway) and has the readout on a cord so you can read the weight on big / wide packages that block the other scales readout.

Both of Michaels recommendations are good ones. I have one similar to the Salter-Brecknell but it is wireless so package size will never block the display. I have the readout attached to my shelving unit on my packing table at eye level...easy read for us 50+ old fogies. I got it at Office Depot and it is worth every penny I paid for it which was around $100.00 5-6 years ago.

On my photography table where I do all the measuring and weighing I have a smaller scale like the version he recommended.

Usually the larger ones like Slater-Brecknell don't weigh as accurately if at all on items smaller than 1-2lbs so it all depends on the weight of the items you'll be listing.

My best advice, don't skrimp if you budget will allow. Go ahead and spend a bit more once on a quality scale and be done with it. I've learned that the less expensive models...most of those on this site are NOT worth the money and last only a few months before they crap out on you...reminds me of a saying my mother used to tell us often, "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the price is forgotten."  ;)
