New Legislation in Montgomery County Maryland

May 19, 2009 12:00 PM
There's a new bill that has passed for Montgomery County Maryland.

It's a Secondhand Property Bill enacted on March 31, 2009. I put a copy of the text of the bill in the toolkit area of the TA Portal. All TAs & REDOLs will have access to it, but it is important that those TAs & REDOLs that are affected, read it.

Sharon,

Thanks for keeping us up to date on this new Secondhand Property Bill in Maryland. I was not aware of it.

I don't have access to the toolkit as I'm not registered as a TA any longer. Could someone be a sweetheart and post a summary here? Or does someone have an outside link to the original article?

MG is usually on the cutting edge for government stuff, I can't wait to see if the rest of the Maryland counties follow suit. $25.00 per license, all to help boost dwindling county budgets.

Yeah, but like many bureaucracies, whether business or government, it probably costs more than $25 to even process/issue that license.
