Paypal payment with local pick up by agent of buyer................

Yeah, so this agent will pick up this $800 jukebox this week, haul it to his house, the buyer paid this morning and will be back in town next month to pick it up. Got that? Read it again.
I sort of know the agent. I don't know if he has anything in writing from the buyer saying he can pick this up. I don't know how to word a receipt so the agent can sign it saying he picked up the item and is responsible for it.
I don't know much.
How do I do this? I read through our other threads, but nothing on letting someone else pick up an item and hold it.
Help me.

CYA, only let the winning bidder pick it up and only pay with cash so you don't get screwed with an INR.

Thats scarier than your ghost story!

I have a similar thing going on.

I had a $2500 item paid for w/ paypal and now 2 months later cant get it picked up! At least I still have the item! Winning buyer keeps calling me from a payphone in Chicago. Yet his ebay address is Florida!

I am now betting he is in prison and is trying to sell the item for profit before he had it re-delivered! LOL!

Well, my DH arranged the deal and told the buyer to paypal me the $800.

I'd be setting DH AND the buyer straight real quick. It is insane to take PP for an $800 local pick up item where not even the buyer is picking it up IMO. Your DH is VERY trusting ?:|
