These are all the names he has been using to SCAM eBay Sellers.

You will send him a working phone then he will lie to eBay saying the wifi didn't work etc looking for a full refund. He is stealing parts from iphones then using eBay to get refunded.

I will be reporting eBay to the San Jose BBB and will be reporting the BUYER to the federal authorities for fraud.

I know you are upset, but this isn't how to deal with it. Open a dispute with paypal. Good Luck, ann

Ann OP may have a point...Paypal does tend to side with buyers, so he has to be able to prove the pattern. If he can...then yes OP, I would report him to the USPS for mail fraud, and I would call both eBay and Paypal. You have to be diligent...but if you get a helpful person at either place, and your paper trail is solid, eBay and Paypal may surprise you and take some action.

OH CRUD I knew I was getting ripped. I sent him an IPHONE that had a cracked screen but I KNOW FOR A FACT the WIFI worked. He paid, then waited a week and then reported it not working based on add as Used but fullly functional. Wanted 24$ from me saying he saved me 74$ for fixing the WIFI. Never responeded to my questions, never got back to me. Still in resolution center, will request he returns the phone for a full refund. Would rather resell the phone than let this guy get one over on me as well.

Add coplach1 to that list. eBayer recently bought used working iPhone 4 from me, received the phone, left me positive feedback (5 stars for item description) and two days later contacts me that he cannot power down the phone. Mind you the iphone power on/off button is the same button and he had no issues powering on the phone.

I do the right thing, reach out to him to find out what happened and asked him if he took the phone to the Apple Genius bar for their opinion. I don’t hear back from the guy but as you can guess an ebay buyer protection case opens against me. The ebayer states the following:

"The item is not as described. the power on/off button is broken. i contacted seller but he refused to take return or refund. I would like to return it for refund. "

I respond to the case and state that if the power button was indeed broken, then he would not have been able to power on the device in the first place. Send the message and in 2 hours I get an email that I have lost my case and to refund the buyer. 2 hours to opine on my case!!!! Usually a case takes a while to review and for the mediator to view all the facts (photos, emails...etc) but none of that happened. They simply make a swift decision (more like an automated decision) and reward the buyer. Furthermore, this eBayer has positive feedback with a 90 rating however his feedback is private. SELLERS BEWARE OF PRIVATE FEEDBACK - Dont sell to any of them!!!! You cannot their previous buys to gauge on whether or not this is an honest eBayer.

Now the phone is being sent back to me however I have a nice feeling that I will either get a swapped device that had its guts ripped out or a box of rocks. I am out $234.00 and the aggravation that this put me through is unacceptable. I mean what a scam that eBay encourages. Honest sellers that get ripped off and have their money yanked from your account by dishonest people.

Thank you very much eBay!!!!! It was my pleasure bending over for you. I hope that someone starts a class action suit against you and Paypal! Sign me up!
