Deleting/erasing saved data on older Gameboy cartridges.

I bought my sister Kirby's Pinball Land for her Gameboy.  Is there a way to erase former-player saved scores from the cartridge so she can save her own scores as she plays?  Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Erase High Scores

At the high score screen hold START and SELECT. If it takes you back to the title screen continue holding these buttons until the high score screen appears again. At this screen, while holding these buttons hold DOWN. If it worked a bomb will appear and an animation will commence.

There is rarely a reason for a buyer to take more than a day to pay. There is rarely a reason for a seller to take more than a day to ship.
