I just joined eBay and want to open a store on eBay to sell a lot of electronics type things such as Video Games and other computer stuff and electronics stuff.  Where can I find where to buy this stuff wholesale?

I think I saw this question on some other forums.  This is my posting ID so I don't sell through this for my business but google is your best friend in this case.  You should be able to find some wholesalers or distributors as they often call themselves on there.

I don't know how new you are to this and how established.  Many of them will require documentation such as a Tax Reseller ID or other similar information.  When I was new I wasn't able to do this but after I got established that's the route I took.

I moved out of Video Games but I used to sell many of them and also back in the day I sold netbooks in my store.  That is no longer the case either but a company I used was AVC Distributor.  I just googled them and their website is www.avcdistributor.com

They seem to sell video games and accessories and also other electronics as you described like computer and a/v cables. Seems they are into mobile phone and tablet accessories and they didn't do that when I was with them. I used them in the beginning since they don't require any official business paperwork.  Their prices aren't bad online and you can hit them up for wholesale level pricing for even better prices.  You may want to give that a shot.

hope you have plenty of buying power.

you will need to make very large purchases in order to get items cheap enough to make any money here on ebay.

video game category is also a hard category to sell in with all the non-paying bidders and scammers.

good luck to you.

Yupp, I agree with splakdaddy, you will need to make HUGE purchases to turn in a profit here on ebay... and if you're looking for wholesale, ebay is your wholesale company.

What I would do, is you look for a cheap or semi-cheap auction that includes a video game system and plenty of games usually 10 games or more... then you sell the system by itself, and sell each game that is still worth some money seperate and you should turn up a good profit, maybe even double your money. I've been doing this for over a year now.

In your case, as you seem new to ebay this is what I would start with.

You should try the old fashioned way of buying and go to flea markets or garage sale ... If you are lucky you can find great deals for really old stuff that sellers just want to move and have no idea of the value.

You can also try to buy on ebay and resale on ebay but you would have to be in for the long hall and get a store to leave them in there for the right buyer to come along.
