'86(?) SWATCH WATCH How should I clean it and is it worth a new battery?

Any info you can share about this model would be greatly appreciated. :)  It definitely needs to be cleaned--I am not even sure what color the band was originally.  I found it in a locked safe and I really think the band has been getting darker since it's been exposed to light over the past week.  I remember the white face being sold with a white band--but I also remember the white bands getting discolored/dirty and being replaced.  The watch needs a new battery but I am not certain it's worth the expense.  Thanks in advance!!!

It appears to be a somewhat yellowed version of "White Out" model GW107:

You can get a battery for it at Wal-Mart for less than $5, and testing to see if it works should be a minimum. If this does not work, I don't see any value in it for parts, either, due to its not aging very well, but you can always repurpose the battery in another watch.

You can get really cheap watch batteries at www.esslinger.com and they also have on their site directions on how to open watches to replace the battery on your own.  So it could be done for super cheap.  Plus they might even have the correct replacement watch band to update the faded one you have on it.
