Just wondering if anyone could tell me anything about this pocket watch. I do not want to try to open it. I know it's a older one.
The story is written inside the back
since you do not want to open the back ( which is easy to do) and show the case markings and movement I would say that it is either:
1) a base metal 7 jewel Elgin in nonworking condition, with missing parts circa 1920's worth $5 at yard sale. OR
2) a solid 18K gold 21 jewel railroad quality watch in mint condition and working wort about $2000, OR
3) or somewhere in between
too bad you dont want to open it and find out
Ok you got me. I tried and can not open it. I do not want to wreck it!!
Can you tudor me the easy way?
Try to unscrew the back with the palm of your hand.
OMG!! I'm such a tart! Thanks!
I just don't want to try to pry or force anything so I never try. My luck I would ruin something!
Thanks a bunch!
I love Ebay people!
