birds of a feather it seems! thanks for the note. my business model on ebay has been based on getting free, or very cheap metal. over the years i have accumulated the tools necessary to do the metalwork, some big ticket items like a mig welder and plasma cutter (sold that though). you really don't need much, when it comes down to it. the pieces i make are very quick. since i have made probably 500 or more in the last 5 years since i got on ebay, i get pretty efficient with it. i never...

Hello, I was going to wait until I get my new camera before posting, but what the heck. I love art, and whenever I go thrifting, that is where I usually head. Here are a few of the paintings I've come across, most for less than $10 This one is oil on board (I think it's oil) the writing on front is the only that I can find. painted on wood- her eyes captured me Colin Ruffell "Naive Kitchen" acrylic on board

I recently acquired this Kimberly Willcox modern, candleholder and sculpture. It is dated 1993 which is actually years earlier than I can find any other work online. I found her website, her awards, her shows, but can find only one gallery carrying her work and those pieces are very new. So, I am wondering how to proceed. Her new pieces range from $800-$8,000. I am doubting that eBay may be the best place to sell if there is no history of her work sold here at all. Any suggestions? The...

Hey there, and good evening. I recently went to an estate where I picked up some pieces, and Im trying to figure out what the deal is with this one in particular. It looks to be real, but I cannot say for sure. Pictures will be coming soon. The title says Tired P***y, and says '48 with his name, and a lady almost naked and a cat. Any help is greatly appreciated. Talk to you soon, and have a great day!

Hi all! I recently acquired a Ruby Usher piece from a member of her family. I got it because I love it and didn't know that she was a well known artist. I'm able to find lots of info about her oils and "people" portraits, but this is a watercolor of a parrot. I read that most of her works were destroyed in a fire in the 40s.Is this worth $$$? I want to make sure that I care for it properly. Thanks!Kirsten "It wasn't me."

Hi Folks! I've been having trouble with ID of this bronze figure. It measures approx. 5" in diameter x 2-1/2" tall. The subject is a rather thin/starving(?) looking Bison/Buffalo going through what may be a marsh(?) maybe just mud(?). There is what appears to be a broken wagon wheel stuck in the middle. This item is signed, possibly "Ron L"(?). Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks!
