"Outsider" art
I am relatively new to searching through the art at eBay and I noticed that many people dub their work "Outsider". Maybe I am confused, but what I consider Outsider is the stuff that I saw at the Visionary Arts Museum in Baltimore, which was done by untrained people, many of whom were mentally ill or institutionalized..which probably accounted for the odd subject matter.
