Made the starter. Waited for 4 days, then added the appropriate ingredients and left out all day. Took one cup of the starter and added to the bread flour with the other appropriate ingredients...let rise overnight. Punched it down this morning, then put into loaf pans....let rise...cooked it this evening. OMG, I'm making more this coming week!

I have made some pretty poor choices in the past when selling vintage original art. I have to let go one of my most favorite paintings and and want to do it right this time. The artist's original work goes anywhere from 6000 - 20,000, prints go for 500 - 3000 . I do not know if this work has ever been printed as I don't know the title of the work. I did find the gallery that owns print rights to at least 400 of the artist's works ,in fact they are releasing a 2 volume book set...

WOW! That first page is stale! Everyday when I wake up I grab a cup of coffee and browse the art section....some people read the paper, I read Ebay. I like to look at the art and I enjoy the challenge of trying to figure out why some great pieces sell while other great pieces do not. (sarcasm) Today I noticed that the first page looks the same as it did last night. I mean no offense, but that is BORING! You ad that to the confusion of Best Match & the economy and it's no wonder...

I cannot translate the name of this artist into English to look up for more detail. It appears to be Norwegian or Danish in orgin. It is dated 1964. Any information would be very much appreciated!

Anyone else sign up on twitter.com . It's basically a place where you can follow other twitterers and have others follow your little text postings. I addeda link on the front of my site so people can easily see it and perhaps sign up to follow me. I just go there a few times a day after I'm finished doing some work or uploading to ebay (with a link) and write a little text. Anyone following me can see the message in their list and maybe go to my link. It might be a small help to let people...

Hello all, I would appreciate it if someone would point me in the right direction to find a place for researching an artist and his work. I have a matted, signed and numbered, piece of art, that looks like a pen and ink type of drawing. Then, since it was signed and numbered, I thought that it might be a print. However, I don't think it is. It feels like it is cloth, or a high rag content type of paper. The backing has a watermark of Van Geld. The size of the drawing itself is 3 7/8" x 5...

Hello! here's a print i bought in a thrift shop. i can't find a signature. the subject and style reminds me a lot of Chagall. i believe this is a better quality print as you can't see dots (through a loupe), may be a litho. i started looking in ended auctions but there so many Chagall's auctions it's endless and it might even not be him... i'd appreciate any help you can provide. i wonder if may be the print has been resized to fit the orange matting. the print is actually on the matting...
