Here's how it works: I name a tile of a book, and the next person names another title that uses a word from my title. Like this: My title: The World According to Garp ~John Irving Next person's title: Around the World in 80 Days ~Jules Verne (No using easy words like "the" or "of" or "and") If it gets impossible, name something by the same author. I'll go first: Diaries of Adam and Eve ~Mark Twain

I have been reading the Old Testament -- heavy duty reading. However, it is so exciting -- even with all the weird names of children. Jesse was the father of David. Who was the father of Jesse? silverteemIsaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God:I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Hi! I'm hoping someone can help me with a couple of questions concerning Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer books. 1) I'm looking to purchase the Little Golden Book and I'd like to ensure I get the original 1958 version (I understand there have been numerous reprints). There are several listed right now and I'm a little confused. Some sellers state the book is the "D" edition (I've also seen books described as the "I" edition)--I have no idea what that means. Also, some books have the price...

I bought this large old painting from an estate sale about a three years ago. It is of three musical angles. I got home and hung it in the hallway. One night while praying I ask God to let me see things that was important in my life. I got up to get some water and behold, I saw hidden pictures inside this old painting. One was of Jesus holding a child and a man standing behind them with the look on his face that he was in hell. I ask others if they could see the hidden pictures, no one could,...

It was called, "Civil War Nurse Memoir Unique Medical Army Instrument". but there was a catch... the real name was "My Story of the War: a Women's Narrative of Four Years Personal Experience" by Mary Livermoore. # 360198369667. I'm still not sure of the correct title. It was signed by author & Dorothy Dix. Mary Livermoore & Dorothy Dix were friends in the civil war. They published books in the same year & signed them. Hey all... I used to post here a fair amount but it's been a couple of years - actually, now that I think about it, it's been since right before my second son was born, so THAT'S where all my time has gone... However, I am still as much as avid reader as ever. I'm always looking for new recommendations of all types of fiction, but right now I'd like to hear recommendations for the scariest book you can think of. Now, I should say horror is the genre I am most into, so I'm really...
