What are the name of the books (I think there's more than 1) that ask tough moral like questions.. Like if you had the choice to save 1 family member or 8 (or whatever the number is) of strangers who would you choose? If you knew you could cheat on your SO with no repurcussions would you? Thanks

Hi! I'm hoping someone can help me with a couple of questions concerning Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer books. 1) I'm looking to purchase the Little Golden Book and I'd like to ensure I get the original 1958 version (I understand there have been numerous reprints). There are several listed right now and I'm a little confused. Some sellers state the book is the "D" edition (I've also seen books described as the "I" edition)--I have no idea what that means. Also, some books have the price...

I bought this large old painting from an estate sale about a three years ago. It is of three musical angles. I got home and hung it in the hallway. One night while praying I ask God to let me see things that was important in my life. I got up to get some water and behold, I saw hidden pictures inside this old painting. One was of Jesus holding a child and a man standing behind them with the look on his face that he was in hell. I ask others if they could see the hidden pictures, no one could,...

Oh, I wanted that book. It was called, "Civil War Nurse Memoir Unique Medical Army Instrument". but there was a catch... the real name was "My Story of the War: a Women's Narrative of Four Years Personal Experience" by Mary Livermoore. # 360198369667. I'm still not sure of the correct title. It was signed by author & Dorothy Dix. Mary Livermoore & Dorothy Dix were friends in the civil war. They published books in the same year & signed them. I had the signed Dorothy Dix book ! I just felt as...

Hey all... I used to post here a fair amount but it's been a couple of years - actually, now that I think about it, it's been since right before my second son was born, so THAT'S where all my time has gone... However, I am still as much as avid reader as ever. I'm always looking for new recommendations of all types of fiction, but right now I'd like to hear recommendations for the scariest book you can think of. Now, I should say horror is the genre I am most into, so I'm really...

I resently purchased a few German Paperback novels at an auction. They look like they are from the 1960s but I can't find any date. Does anyone know anything about them or where I could find out info on them. Thanks

Greetings all! Hope this hasn't been asked before and was buried under pages of threads ... Is there really life (reading) after Twilight? (LOL) I got so hooked on those books. (Love, love, LOVE them!) Nothing else really seems to compare or, entice me to read. I read a few pages or chapters of something new then it's blah. Back to the library we go. (LOL) I'm a huge Twilight fan and just finished reading mysteries by Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark. Do you...
